Ilse and I had been talking about doing a family session about two years ago, so it came as a welcome surprise to hear from her again. But not only had the family left Brazil in the meantime, now they were coming back on a visit to the city and really wanted to finally do the session. Since their time in Sao Paulo was short we were glad we got great weather and happy kids and had a wonderful afternoon snapping their family pictures!

I loved photographing this family who was reunited here in Brazil for a family holiday. Since the ‘kids’ turned out to be a little older than playground age, my usual bribing with chocolates was out. But the adult version of sweets by letting them play cards was just the ticket to get us all to relax and have a fun couple of hours back in Beco de Batman here in Sao Paulo.
